Thought I'd send out some pictures of our baby girl. I am 23 weeks now, but by the looks of my stomach most people think I'm almost done. I guess it might be becuase this is my third pregnancy, or maybe I'm just carrying a little girl differently, but I am ginormous...I'll post some pictures. So we were really excited at this appointment, because at our last ultra-sound, she had two cysts on her coriod plexis, the part of her brain that makes spinal fluid. They told us these cysts can be an indicator for a genetic disease, that wouldn't let her live beyond birth...scary. Anyway she didn't have any of the other indicators: unclinching hands, a weak or abnormal heart, or a positive AFP test. So today they cysts had gone away, and we saw her hands clinching and unclinching. There is still a tiny chance that she could have it (its called Trisomi 18), but very very slim. We are very grateful.

Christmas 2007

So we spent Christmas this year at home. We had planned on going to Monticello, but Satch and Em really wanted to stay here. It actually was kind of nice...really layed back. Ken's been traveling so much with work, that is was really nice to just hang out with him. We got a big suprise from Santa this year. The kids have been begging for a pet (we are not really pet people) but we thought we'd try it out. They named their guiniue pig "Oreo", and Emmy tells me she is its mother. So far she has been a really easy pet. Not stench yet...I'll keep you posted.
